At the fifth Slovenian conference for digital communication Diggit, organised by TSmedia and the magazine Marketing magazin, a ten-member committee bestowed awards on eleven creative solutions in eleven categories. Four grand prizes went to those projects which stood out most among the competitors in the fields of digital innovativeness, digital strategy, digital advertising, and social media.
Slovenian agencies and clients submitted forty-two entries this year. The gold award in the automotive industry went to the agency Mediodrom and Renault Nissan Slovenija for their digital strategy Z. E. Taxi. The Enki agency received the gold award for their webpage Enki in the B2B category. In the category for financial services, insurance, and banking the gold award was presented to Renderspace and Nova KBM for advertising on the social network NKBM Sveta Vladar – Gladko bančništvo (NKBM Ruler of the World – Smooth Banking).
Another gold award was presented in the category of products for the home. It went to AV Studio and Gorenje for the digital event Bine, Christmas dinner and you – live. In the category of food and drink the winners were Renderspace and Droga Kolinska with the web video Roylet. In the category for the public sector the award was presented again to the agency Enki together with JP Vodovod in kanalizacija for the website Primavoda. In the category of non-profit organisations the award was given to the charity foundation Chariyo for their website.
AV Studio together with the Gorenje Velenje Handball Club received the gold award in the category of sports for the web video Flashmob Gorenje Velenje Handball Club. The project FerFud was the winner for the agency Saatchi & Saatchi and Hofer. The Enki agency was also the winner in the category of tourism, where they were awarded first place for the website Green Ljubljana in conjunction with the Municipality of Ljubljana.
Eleven gold awards were complemented by four grand prizes. The grand prize for digital innovation was presented to the agency Renderspace and Telekom Slovenije for the application Daljinec +, which was also the winner of the gold award in the category of financial services, insurance, and banking. The grand prize for digital strategy was awarded to Saatchi & Saatchi and Hofer for the project FerFud. The latter was also the winner of the gold prize in the category of trade. The grand prize for digital advertising went to the agency Sonce.net and BMW Group Slovenija for their campaign »Mini potep«, while in the category of social media the grand prize was awarded to Lidl Slovenija for the administration of the Lidl community on Facebook.
For the first time the jury decided to mention an especially innovative use of a medium, which was earned by the institute Danes je nov dan for their projects Prostovid, Čas je za: Janez Janša, and Žar brez utvar.
The president of the jury Manja Gradišek from NLB was aided by nine other members of the jury, among them Alenka Potočnik Anžič (AV Studio), Karmen Lužnik (Renderspace), Mitja Jereb (TSmedia), Damjan Planinc (Get Interactive), Gregor Draksler (Peugeot), Karmen Mlinar (Lidl Slovenija), Jaka Lenardič (Enki), Simona Koren (Atlantic Grupa), and Simona Kruhar Gaberšček (Marketing magazin).
