The renowned aviator, biologist, and environmentalist Matevž Lenarčič concluded his unique World Green Flight adventure by landing in Portorož, Slovenia. His ultra-light aircraft, which embarked on a research flight to collect accurate data about global black carbon concentration, crossed three oceans and flew 41,000 km. The exciting journey by the pilot and his plane, weighing only 290 kg, lasted twenty-eight days, adding up to 186 hours or almost eight days in the air.
