A fabulous edition of the sixty-sixth Cars International Motor Show (IAA) took place from September 17th to 27th in Frankfurt, Germany.
Akrapovič unveiled its latest ultra-light state-of-the art exhaust system, which has drawn on all the skill and expertise of the Slovenian specialists to produce the lightest type-approved exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG S 63 AMG Coupé.

On display were new products from the titanium exhaust system lines, including for the world’s first megacar: the Koenigsegg Regera. Visitors were able to admire Akrapovič titanium exhaust systems for sports cars and take a closer look at the Audi R18 e-tron quattro hybrid racing car and the road-going versions of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Lamborghini Huracán—all featuring Akrapovič exhaust systems.
Their booth hosted some very special guests: BMW Motorsport Works Driver Marco Wittmann, and Audi Factory Driver René Rast.
A special new feature at the Akrapovič display area was the driving simulator. Enthusiastic visitors had the chance to try out a BMW M4 with an Akrapovič exhaust. The display area also included the sound chair and iPad stands offering complete information on the exhaust lines for cars and motorcycles.
The visitor response at the display was phenomenal, and Akrapovič was present at other display areas too, where it also made an impression.
