The Biggest Live Nativity Scene in an Underground Cave in the World was the 26th in a Row
The live nativity scene at Postojna Cave is the world’s biggest live nativity scene that takes place in an underground cave. This is a presentation of superlatives that is this year the 26th in a row. The biggest tourist cave in Europe will be transformed into a unique venue including its underground halls, passages, and galleries. The organizers once again promise a magnificent Christmas spectacle with a series of news stories in the presentation as well as dramatic content.
The incredible voices of Nuška Drašček and Klemen Bunderla will be enchanting the public along with numerous young musicians, and the magical Christmas experience will be enhanced by the Event Theatre Serpentes. The live nativity scene will be accompanied by the Christmas market and cheerful celebrations on the stage in front of the entrance to Postojna Cave.
Live nativity scene shows in Postojna Cave will take place on:
25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th December 2015 from 1 to 3 pm, every half hour. Additional shows will be held if the number of visitors is greater than anticipated.
