Akrapovič at the world-renowned EICMA show in Milan
Akrapovič was in Italy past week as the world’s foremost manufacturer of premier lightweight high-performance exhaust systems and revealed its latest innovative products at the world-renowned EICMA show in Milan and gave visitors the chance to Experience a New Dimension.
This year’s EICMA – or the Milan Motorcycle Show, as it is commonly referred to – Akrapovič’s display stand boasting its latest class-leading and state-of-the-art exhaust systems, along with world premieres for various marques from the two-wheeled world and many interactive displays and race-winning motorcycles, all there to excite and inform the visiting crowds.
Akrapovič has been at the forefront of motorcycle exhaust technology and a true leader in the industry, and its 2017 EICMA stand offers an opportunity for show-goers to Experience a New Dimension that they have never felt before. They were able to see, hear, and feel the whole world of Akrapovič for themselves. Enhanced sound, performance, handling, and design – you name it, an Akrapovič system has it. This experience was highlighted with interactive and informative displays at the stand, including the Experience Room, where visitors had the opportunity to be fully immersed in the sound, design, and craftmanship of Akrapovič products, and the chance to test the all-enveloping aural involvement of the Akrapovič Sound Chair and fully absorb the unique tone of an Akrapovič. These hands-on activities are certain to be a big favourite for all.
With racing a strong thread in Akrapovič’s DNA, there will be racing machines on display all equipped with Akrapovič exhausts. With bikes from MotoGP™, MXGP, and Moto3™ – some of which have won Grands Prix races and world championship titles this year – and visits from stars representing top world championships throughout the entire show, the Akrapovič stand will certainly have its roots in racing firmly defined.
Akrapovič launched brand-new aftermarket products for BMW F 850 GS, Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX, Kawasaki Z900RS, and Piaggio MP3 500 models, and it revealed a production first for Akrapovič with its first exhaust system for the Kymco brand. These stunning new systems were joined at the booth by many other items from the Slovenian company’s catalogue, highlighting the wide range and exquisite workmanship that Akrapovič has at its disposal.
